Sahara desert is such a magical place and now so accessible to everyone. We started our journey in Spain, took a ferry to Tangier, Morocco, then train to Fes and from Fes a 9h car ride to the actual desert. It was easy and interesting to travel to the Sahara desert through Morocco. After our Sahara adventure, we managed to spend a day in Fes too, where you can find the worlds oldest leather tannery. This beautiful town Chefchaouen in the North of Morocco surrounded by Rif Mountains is truly a 'Blue Pearl' of Morocco. The whole town is actually blue and the atmosphere is very chilled. I highly recommend visiting this place as it is a must-see in Morocco! Marrakesh is wild! One of my long-time 'must visit' places have been the famous Marrakesh market and I am so pleased I visited it but it was a massive culture shock.
